I loved it. Felt very easy to follow as my first time and an amazing workout.

Rowing is all upper body, right?
Wrong. Rowing is push through your legs - not a pull with your arms.
With proper form, you can work up to 86% of your muscles each stroke. |

It's what your fitness routine is missing.

Can I take a Rō Fitness class with no rowing experience?
YES! Every class can work for people of all experience and fitness levels. Your coach will show you proper form, and then the intensity will ramp up throughout the workout, while the coach gives you individual tips on how to improve the form and intensity of your workout.
What kinds of classes do you offer?
Rō Fitness offers three different kinds of classes:
All classes use Concept2 Indoor Rowing machines -- only the best!
- Cardio Rō is our classic high-intensity interval based class
- Long and Lō focuses on form and power with lower, meditative rates
- Sculpt and Rō is part cardio Rō, part off-machine strength exercises

What do I wear?
- Any athletic or running shoes will do!
- Clothing recommendations:
- Fitted clothing - baggy clothes could get caught in the wheels of the seat
- Layers (if it's cold) - you'll warm up quick
- And don't forget a water bottle!
Do you have showers I can use?
Rō Downtown has 10 showers, but requires a key to enter! Just tell an instructor after class and we'll give you a shower key.
Do you hold class outdoors off the Hike and Bike Trail?
Yes! We 'opt outside' at our Downtown location.
Waller Creek Boathouse is off the Hike and Bike Trail in Downtown ATX with unbeatable views. We set the machines outdoors on the balcony, overlooking the lake to enjoy the fresh air and views.
But sometimes, the weather makes us move inside. If it's raining or temps drops below 40 or above 95 degrees, we set up class inside the boathouse.
